How to delete your BeFam account

In the app (iPhone or Android)

1. Open BeFam and sign in.
2. Tap the menu, then Settings.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Type the confirm word and tap Delete my account.

On the web

1. Sign in at app.befam.app.
2. Open Settings and, under Account, choose Delete account.
3. Type the confirm word and confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your login, profile, photo, private notes, messages and chats with Fam are deleted right away.
• If other people are still in your family, the family stays: tasks, lists, recipes and family notes you added pass to another member, and admin rights go to another parent.
• If you're the last member, the whole family is deleted with everything in it: tasks, lists, recipes, meal plans, notes, chat, photos and the food diary.
• A connected Google Calendar is disconnected and our access to it is revoked. A BeFam Plus subscription paid on the web is cancelled; one paid through Google Play or the App Store has to be cancelled in the store.
• Deletion is permanent. Deleted data can't be restored.
